Quality Doors Series 700 MDF RTF Rigid Thermal Foil Doors |
What you will see are three color images representing the series, line art denoting the various door configurations you may select from, and pass profile and edge profile choices.
What you need to know about series 700 doors:
You will have to select a door design from the line art below, and then a pass profile which makes the raised panel or sunken panel look, and an edge profile to create the perimeter look you will like. RTF profiles can be viewed on this page only. They are not entirely the same selections as with the wood doors.
You also need to select an RTF color choice, there is no finishing involved. Rigid Thermal Foil is the top coating over the one piece MDF core. There is no glazing allowed on RTF doors. RTF color choices are shown on
the finishes page, BUT they are also shown on this page. All data pertaining to the RTF doors will be found on this page. Additional door photos are shown on the secondary series 700 color photo page. You will need to provide quanity and size info. Doors can be bored for concealed hinges. Arch top doors
must have boring stated for the left side, or right side, or as pairs. Also tell us if you need concealed hinges. This is an easy series to order from. On the ordering form where it says "frame", you can enter the
pass profile from below. Leave the panel entry blank, but do select and edge. Designs 700SK5-115, 700NT-115, 720SK5-115, 741HV3-192, 742HV3-192, and 743HV3-192 are specialty designs and come with the stated pass
profiles and edges only. There is no switching things around on these 6 desgins, so don't even try. ;) RTF Doors:
Rigid Thermal Foil is pressed using computer controlled heat and pressure over a one-piece high quality MDF panel with a low pressure Thermalfused Melamine back, resulting in a high-quality K.C.M.A. approved product. Scratch resistant white, antique white, or almond painted look without the problem and expense of painting. Woodgrain looks available too.

Below is line art showing the various door designs, with detailed door and drawer front specifications. (cut outs of the sides) The two graphics below may be too big to print on a
single page. You can right mouse click on them and save them as files or print them individually, possibly reducing them in your print dialog windows advanced settings. Available RTF color choices are shown lower on this page.

The 700 SK5-115 door is the popular shaker style door. The 700NT-115 is the beaded shaker style door.
If you would like the double shaker style door, order design 720 with the SK5 or NT pass profiles and 115 edge.
Cutout view of actual door to show you what the pass profile does to create the raised panel look.

Edge profiles ending in X are premium edges and cost $3.00 more per square foot for doors and drawer fronts. All other are "no charge" edges.
Adding an 'R' after the 112 or 115 edge profiles will give you a radius outside corner. Note:
the bead shown on the Q6 profile in the picture above is the Q6 pass profile. If you want the same profile without the bead, that will be the A5
pass profile. It mimics the 486 edge available on mitered corner wood doors. |
Square corner and radius corner examples. (inside corners)
For Square inside corners order pass profile: A5, I5, K5, NT, SK5, V5, V3, or Q6. Note: small 1/8" radius on some. For Radius inside corners order pass profile: C2, I3, or K3. |
Available colors: Finish Examples All styles above are available in solid colors: Matte White, Almond, and Antique White.
And woodgrain colors: Sanibel Maple, Pear, Matte Woodgrain White, Natural Maple, Lite Oak, and Dunwood. Doors are RTF/White Melamine Back. Drawer fronts are white Melamine Back. If you wish, a few colors can have
a matching back instead of the white melamine back (almond, antique white, natural maple, and sanibel maple only). It adds $1.10 to the square foot price. Be very clear in your description if you would like this option.
If not stated, doors and drawer fronts do come with a white back. (When doors are closed, you do not see the backs. And you rarely see the back of a drawer front.) To view color images of some drawer fronts, select this link. Additional color images pages to assist in your selections

RTF Finish Examples These 9 images are scans of
the actual RTF material applied onto a piece of MDF. We have left the images at 150 dpi for a better representation of color and or texture if your monitor is able to display it. The matte woodgrain white we
scanned at an angle in an attempt to pick up the reflection of the woodgrain. The matte woodgrain white is as bright white as the matte white, even though it may show
gray. We were trying to show the texture and a shadow was picked up. (images will vary from monitor to monitor) |
